A rare a precious gem. This place has professionals. It's unique and totally unexpected treat in downtown Burton. We've only been twice, but due to exceptional ingredients, made-from-scratch thoughtful recipes, and excellent service - I can't imagine we'd ever move this place off of our favorites list. Treat yourself and your family to a brunch item!
Everything was good. The ribs could use some more rub and let them sit for 24 hour before they ago in the smoker. Wife had the brisket, the crust was excellent. Should use the burnt end as another dish.Come slaw was good, make it colder and it will be excellent. I liked the smoked butter for the rolls... Peach cobbler was awesome. But most importantly the long islands were amazing!!!! Give me a shout and I will be happy to stop up and give some wonderful incite, I did win a blue ribbon for my ribs in 2013...
An excellent place for couples' anniversaries, meeting with a special someone or any memorable occasion. Cozy atmosphere that's deceiving.. the food is truly amazing. This restaurant's going places. The chef deserves his own 5 star rating, as does the waiter. Everything was perfect. I'll be returning here every wedding anniversary, Valentine's day, you name it. I ordered the pork chop, and my wife the coho salmon. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful grilled flavor. Served with a sweet potato hash and brussels sprouts, trimmed with Patterson's local apples... Mwah! Before tonight, I cooked the best pork I ever ate but not anymore. My wife loved the salmon.. I tried a bite as well and it was excellent, with a light maple glaze that honored our regional traditions. Dessert was a very nice chilled pumpkin concoction with a torched creme finish on top, served in a glass. The light pastry served with it was still warm from the oven. Good wine selection, as well with options for bar or restaurant seating. Hopefully they will stay with us, I will dare to say the best restaurant in the area by far. (...sorry Vinny's, I love you too!) I'll add photos next visit, sorry!
Excellent food, presentation and spectacular service by Doug! Everything about the restaurant had a fine attention to detail.
Saturday evening dinner... Charming atmosphere. Cover band was playing inside when we arrived, so it was too loud for conversation. They moved outside to the patio - much better! The pulled pork was great, and locally sourced salads very good. We had a new server. Very attentive, but not very knowledgeable. Overall, the food and atmosphere made up for the smaller issues.
